Spremembe so danes tako pogoste in tako drugačne, da je celo največji guru managementa  sprememb John Kotter1 moral spremeniti svoja znamenita izhodišča obvladovanja sprememb (R8) v knjigi Accelerate (XL R8, 2014) in jih nato ponovno dopolniti  v digitalni knjigi »SUCCESS Notes: Leading Change, Accelerate, Our Iceberg Is Melting, And The Heart of Change” (1.april 2015).

Drugi guru managamenta Peter Drucker2 je dejal: »The best way to predict the future is to create it.«

Tretji guru poslovne prakse  Jack Welch3 pravi, da za učinkovit razvojni zasuk organizacije potrebujemo najprej spremembo poslovne kulture.
